Advanced Audience Creation for Retargeting Dynamic Product Ads

StitcherAds -

In addition to the quick rule combinations (Viewed, Added to Cart, Purchased)

there is also an option to create more complex audiences by using our Advanced Audience creator. This feature can be accessed by clicking the '+' button when creating a Retargeting DPA campaign.

StitcherAds allows users to create a variety of complex relationships with the Viewed, Added to Cart and Purchased events. The timeframe can also be adjusted within which people are included in audiences.

Note: Audiences including people who have viewed products within a matter of hours could be small depending on your site traffic.

Try some advanced combinations:

Example 1:

If you are concerned about customers seeing an advert too soon after being on your site

 - Show a product from my catalogue to people who have..viewed in the last 7 days, but

 - Do not show a product from my catalogue to people who have viewed in the last 12 hours and

 - Do not show a product from my catalogue to people who have purchased in the last 70 days

Example 2:

If you sell consumables that you know people need to reorder e.g. contact lenses which are typically reordered every 30 days:

 - Show a product from my catalogue to people who have viewed a product in the last 180 days, and

- Show a product from my catalogue to people who have purchased a product in the last 180 days, but

 - Do not show a product from my catalogue to people who have purchased in the last 29 days

Example 3:

If you already have a DPA campaign running with an audience retention of 7 days Viewed, 7 days Added to cart and 90 days Purchased and you want to enhance your audience reach. Create a new campaign with extended audience retention and exclude the the current DPA audience.

- Show a product from my catalogue to people who have..viewed in the last 14 days, and

- Show a product from my catalogue to people who have..Added to Cart in the last 14 days, but

- Do not show a product from my catalogue to people who have viewed in the last 7 days, and

- Do not show a product from my catalogue to people who have Added to Cart in the last 7 days, and

- Do not show a product from my catalogue to people who have purchased in the last 30 days

Example 4:

You may have different bid strategies for audiences that have different value. For example an audience of customers who added to cart in the past 7 days may be more valuable than customers who have added to cart in the last 30 days. In this instance there would be two campaigns. Campaign 2 below would be given a higher bid amount due to the higher value audience.

Campaign 1

- Show a product from my catalogue to people who have..Added to Cart in the last 30 days, but

- Do not show a product from my catalogue to people who have Added to Cart in the last 7 days.

Campaign 2

- Show a product from my catalogue to people who have..Added to Cart in the last 7 days

Please note that in this case the audience in Campaign 1 will not start populating until 7 days after it is create.
