Create Custom Audiences using Conjunctive Targeting

StitcherAds -

Case 1: Creating custom audiences with multiple inclusive requirements.

  • URLs contain "X" [AND] "Y":
    • This example creates an audience based on visits to URLs which contain both: "/product" [AND] "/shoes"
  • Step 1:
    • Create the first qualifier.
    • Example: [URL contains "/product"]
    • *Tip: Start with the larger URL set and work down to narrow the scope of the targeting to ensure you follow the logical progression of the URL structure
  • Step 2:
    • Add additional qualifiers by clicking the "+" button after first field.
    • This creates [AND] functionality which adds additional qualifiers that must take place in addition to the first qualifier
  • Step 3:
    • Create the second qualifier in the second field
    • This example [URL Contains: "/shoes"] the audience must have visited URLs which contain both "/product" [AND] "/shoes"
    • *Note having "/" before product will require URLs to contain exactly "/product" to qualify.

Example of Audience Setup in StitcherAds

  • URL Examples
  • Included (contains "/product" AND "/shoes")
    • stitcherads.com/product/shoes
    • sticherads.com/product/shoes_sale
  • Not included (missing either "/product" or "/shoes")
    • sticherads.com/store
    • stitcherads.com/product
    • stitcherads.com/shoes
    • stitcherads.com/product-shoes

Case 2: Creating custom audiences with multiple non-exclusive requirements

  • URLs contain X "OR" Y
    • This example creates an audience based on visits to URLs which contain either /product "OR" empire
  • Step 1:
    • Create the first requirement: Example: [URL contains "/product"]
  • Step 2:
    • Add supplemental requirements:
    • Add additional URL requirements within the first requirement field.
    • This creates "OR" functionality.  These are supplemental requirements the audience can hit in addition to the first requirement
    • The example below creates a second possible URL requirement [URL contains "empire"] in an addition to [URL contains "/product"]
